Therapy that works with your mind
Neurodivergent-affirming therapy and executive function coaching

What makes our therapy different?
Designed for your brain
Most therapeutic models weren’t created for neurodivergent minds. Our practice was built by and for neurodivergent people. We see autism and ADHD (and other forms of neurodivergence) as neurological variations, not deficits to be overcome. We’ve developed an integrated approach that combines neurodiversity-affirming principles with brain science and evidence-based coaching. We’re here for you whether you’re exploring your neurotype or already have a solid understanding of your profile.
Beyond the therapy room
Real change happens in the context of your relationships, work, and community. We help you develop both internal resilience and external advocacy skills, creating pathways for authentic self-expression across every area of your life.
Inclusive and affirming
We provide a genuinely welcoming space for diverse identities and relationship structures. LGBTQIA+ individuals, those in polyamorous or alternative relationships, and people navigating multiple intersecting identities will find specialised, affirming care here.
Our therapeutic framework
We thoughtfully combine multiple evidence-based approaches into a comprehensive toolkit designed for neurodivergent minds. Our work is grounded in humanistic principles that respect your inherent wisdom. We draw from practical, skill-based approaches and deeper, emotion-focused therapies. Some examples of how the many therapeutic techniques might be combined in therapy include:
- Schema Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) for exploring deep-seated emotional patterns
- EMDR for processing traumatic experiences
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for concrete tools that support emotional regulation and values-driven action
We also incorporate somatic approaches to help regulate the nervous system and translate therapeutic insights into felt change.
Areas we focus on
Professional life and workplace navigation
Thriving professionally requires balancing authenticity with adaptation. We help you move past the exhaustion and imposter syndrome that can come from working in environments not built for you. Our work together might involve:
- Sustainable strategies that honour your neurotype
- Accommodation requests and workplace communication
- Navigating neurotypical workplace cultures
- Career transitions that align with you
Relationships and authentic connection
Building meaningful relationships can feel complex when you communicate differently. We explore how to create genuine connections without losing yourself. We offer both individual therapy and couples therapy, supporting partners in understanding each other and building stronger connections. Our approach focuses on:
- Rejection sensitivity and communicating your needs
- Balancing accommodation and self-advocacy
- Masking patterns and genuine connection
- Supporting partners and family in understanding neurodivergence
Daily functioning and life management
When executive function challenges are present, everyday tasks can become overwhelming. Our support goes beyond simple organisational tips to address the underlying patterns that make life management difficult. We help you create sustainable, personalised systems for:
- Time, household, and financial management
- Sensory needs and supportive routines
- Relationships with food, sleep, and wellbeing
Mental health and emotional wellbeing
Neurodivergent people often experience higher rates of mental health challenges. The reasons are complex, ranging from the cumulative stress of navigating environments not designed for them, to co-occurring conditions and the exhaustion of masking. Our approach is:
- Neurodiversity-affirming, not pathologising
- Trauma-informed and compassionate
- Tailored to your sensory and executive function needs
- Focused on understanding the root causes, not just managing experiences
Identity and self-discovery
Discovering your neurodivergent identity at any stage of life is a profound experience of celebration, grieving, and rediscovery. We support you by:
- Exploring what neurodivergence means for you
- Developing language for your needs and self-advocacy
- Processing late-in-life discoveries and internalised ableism
- Navigating masking and unmasking
- Creating structures that honour who you are
FAQ's
How does therapy work?
Therapy is a collaborative process. You bring your experiences and goals, we bring clinical expertise and a toolkit of approaches. Together, we work towards what matters to you. Some people come for short-term support around a specific goal, others work through longer-term experiences. We set clear goals together and regularly check in on your progress.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is about understanding your situation and ensuring we are the right fit for you. We’ll talk about what’s brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and develop a shared plan together. If you’ve completed any questionnaires beforehand, we’ll go through the results early on.
How often will we meet?
We decide on the frequency together, based on your goals and what feels most supportive. This might change as your needs evolve. Generally, weekly or fortnightly sessions are recommended to ensure you experience consistent progress.
How long does therapy take?
It depends on what you’re working on. Some people come for a few sessions around a specific goal, others engage in longer-term work. We’ll talk about this together and regularly review how things are going.
Do I need a formal assessment to work with you?
No, not at all. We welcome anyone who feels our approach is a good fit. Self-discovery and validation are key parts of the process, with or without formal documentation.
What if previous therapy hasn't been helpful?
We hear this often. Many neurodivergent people find that traditional therapy doesn’t work for them. Our team has a deep understanding of neurodivergence, which means we can see how everything fits together, from executive function to sensory needs to emotional patterns. We use executive function coaching for when you know what you need to do, but can’t seem to do it. We also use experiential and emotion-focused therapies for when understanding alone isn’t enough. Our integrated approach was designed to bridge the gap between insight and real-world change.
Do you work exclusively with neurodivergent clients?
While our expertise centres on neurodivergent experiences, we welcome anyone who feels our approach aligns with their needs.
Can I switch therapists if it's not the right fit?
Yes. The therapeutic relationship matters, and if it’s not working, we can discuss other options within the team.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy is confidential, with some exceptions required by law (like risk of harm). We’ll explain this in your first session.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please let us know as soon as possible, to ensure that your appointment slot can be offered to another client. Same-week cancellations are challenging for us to fill. See our cancellation policy for details.
