Matthew Lambert

ADHD and Autism Online Support Worker

Matthew is a neurodivergent support worker who provides practical, hands-on assistance online. He offers support for the parts of life that feel overwhelming, helping you get things done and free up your energy for what matters.

What Matthew does

Matthew offers virtual support that’s about doing tasks together, not just talking about them. Think of him as your task buddy and gentle accountability partner, available from the comfort of your own space via telehealth.

He provides practical online support in three main ways:

  • Tackling life admin: Breaking down big tasks, managing your inbox, making phone calls, sorting paperwork.
  • Virtual body doubling: Staying on video call while you tackle cleaning, meal prep, or creative projects.
  • Building custom systems: Meal planning, budgeting, and remembering important tasks to enhance your wellbeing and resilience.

His approach is action-oriented and collaborative. You’re in control of the goals and direction. Matthew’s job is to provide the support you need to get unstuck and make things happen. Sessions are non-judgmental, understanding, and supportive, with a cheerful attitude focused on creating a space where you feel seen and respected.

Matthew’s support can be particularly valuable alongside ADHD coaching. While coaching focuses on developing strategies and understanding your brain, practical support helps you implement those strategies and get things done in real time.

Qualifications & background

Matthew is AuDHD (Autistic and ADHD) and understands firsthand what it’s like when executive dysfunction gets in the way. Before he realised he was neurodivergent, he built a career simplifying highly complex systems, bringing both the strengths and unique abilities of a neurodivergent mind to his work, along with intimate knowledge of the difficulties we face in a world not built for us.

He’s currently in his final year of training to be a psychologist at Monash University, which he combines with his lived experience and senior management background. He will help you find solutions that work in your life. Practical, realistic approaches that honour how your brain works.

Outside of work, you can usually find Matthew under a stack of psychology textbooks, deep-diving into a new special interest, or playing with his kitten.

How it works

  • Book a free chat: Start with a free 15-minute call to meet and see if you’re a good fit. No pressure or obligation.
  • Make a plan: If you decide to go ahead, you’ll book once-off or regular online sessions via telehealth, depending on what works best for you.
  • Get it done: In your sessions, you’ll work together on the goals you choose, whether that’s tackling a specific overwhelming task, creating a new system, or having regular body doubling support.
  • Flexible support: Sessions can be scheduled as needed. Some people book weekly for ongoing support, others book one-off sessions when they have specific tasks to tackle.

The focus is always on practical action, gentle accountability with compassion, and finding what actually works for your brain and your life.
