Terms of Use
Effective date: 17 August 2026
The website is operated by Mindkit Psychological Services Proprietary Limited, ABN 99 687 719 473, trading as Mindkit Psychology. Mindkit is based in Brunswick East, Victoria.
These Terms apply when you use the Mindkit website, including its pages, forms and downloadable resources.
What do these Terms cover?
These Terms govern your use of the Mindkit websit
Our Privacy Policy explains how Mindkit collects, uses, stores and discloses personal and health information.
Is the information on this website individual health advice?
The website contains general information about Mindkit services and about psychological, neurodevelopmental and related topics.
Information on the website is not individual psychological or medical advice. The information that is relevant to a particular person depends on their circumstances and the question being considered.
Reading the website, submitting a general enquiry or booking a free 15-minute consult does not by itself create a psychologist-client relationship. A clinical relationship begins through the relevant booking and consent process.
What if I need urgent help?
If you need urgent mental health or safety support, use the Crisis Support page for current options. If there is an immediate danger or medical emergency in Australia, call 000.
What happens when I send an enquiry?
An enquiry lets us know what you are looking for. It does not guarantee an appointment or mean that a particular Mindkit service will be appropriate for you.
We may need more information before we can tell you which service is suitable or confirm a booking.
If you receive a written quote or booking confirmation, the service information and terms in that document apply to that booking.
What are the terms of the free 15-minute consult?
The consult is not a therapy session, an assessment appointment, a feedback appointment or a crisis service. It does not provide a diagnosis, assessment outcome or formal clinical opinion.
Booking a consult does not itself book or confirm another Mindkit service.
How can I use the website?
- gain unauthorised access to Mindkit systems or another person’s information
- introduce malicious software or deliberately interfere with the operation or security of the website
- use the website for an unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose
- impersonate another person when submitting information
- use automated systems to extract substantial amounts of Mindkit content for republication or commercial use
Mindkit may restrict access to part of the website where this is reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users or Mindkit systems.
Can I copy or share material from the website?
Unless another owner is identified, the text, graphics, photographs, branding and original resources on the website are owned by or licensed to Mindkit.
You may save, print, link to and share links to publicly available website content for personal or professional reference.
You may not sell Mindkit content, reproduce substantial parts of the website for commercial use, remove authorship or copyright information, or present Mindkit material as your own unless you have permission or Australian law permits the use.
A downloadable resource may contain its own instructions about copying or sharing it. Those instructions apply to that resource.
What about websites and services operated by other organisations?
The Mindkit website may link to external websites or use services provided by other organisations, including booking, payment and technology providers..
Will the website always be accurate and available?
We take reasonable care with the information we publish, but errors can occur and information can become out of date. The website may also be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems or matters outside Mindkit’s control.
If information is important to a booking, use the written quote, booking confirmation or other information provided directly for that service.
What happens if a price changes?
If Mindkit has already issued you a written quote, the validity period and price stated in that quote apply. Changing a price on the website does not retrospectively change an existing quote or confirmed service arrangement.
What rights do I have under Australian Consumer Law?
Australian Consumer Law provides automatic consumer guarantees for services, and those rights cannot be removed by these Terms.
How does privacy work when I use the website?
Our Privacy Policy explains what information Mindkit collects, why we collect it, how it is handled, who it may be disclosed to, and your rights to access or correct information.
Please do not send extensive clinical records through a general website contact form. If we need records from you, we can provide an appropriate way to transfer them.
Can these Terms change?
We may update these Terms when the website, our services or legal requirements change.
The current version and effective date will be published on this page. An updated version applies to use of the website from its effective date.
Updating these Website Terms does not retrospectively alter an existing quote, booking or clinical service agreement.
What happens if part of these Terms cannot be enforced?
If part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Which law applies?
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria and applicable Commonwealth law.
